We believe that raising well rounded, confident puppies starts with ensuring that we have chosen to breed from parents that will provide them with a solid foundation upon which to grow. Whilst we may keep one puppy from a litter that we breed, all of that puppy’s brothers and sisters will go to live with their new families who tend to be at different life stages, with different needs from their family pet. That is why temperament is so important and should never be overlooked. We select parents that have outstanding health test results, excellent temperaments and solid conformation. These are the three building blocks that set Townedale puppies up for success.

From day one Townedale puppies are nurtured and adored, carefully exposed to a wide ranging socialisation programme and an awful lot of cuddles, so that they leave for their new homes with the confidence and adaptability they need to settle in smoothly without fear or anxiety. This starts on day 3 with Early Neurological Stimulation and over the subsequent 2 months includes meeting different people, exploring different ground surfaces and environments, learning about typical household noises, interacting with multi-sensory toys, car travel, vet visits, learning to take treats from your hand, basic toilet training and more! It’s a privilege and a pleasure to raise these babies and watch them grow into balanced and loved adults with you.
